Biohysics 240: Fourier Transforms (MR Image Reconstruction)
Course Coordinator: Dr. Daniel B. Rowe

Text Book: The Fourier Transform: A Technical Understanding with Applications to MRI. by DB Rowe (Book manuscript)
Contact me if you are interested in a copy of this book.

This course covers the foundation that is needed to understand the mathematics of where the (finite discrete) Fourier Transformation comes from and how it is utilized in applications (especially MR image reconstruction). The course will provide enough technical and applied coverage for the reader to go from here to either a more mathematical treatment of the topic or direct application of the presented material. It is my belief that students should understand the technical material in order to fully understand its aplication.
